Industrial Maintenance Mechanic: Northwest Houston

JOB SUMMARY: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic - $28.00 to $35.55 plus shift differential{CANDIDATE_FIRSTNAME}

Responsible for: mechanical maintenance for metal working machines, such lathes, presses, saws, honing machines, boring machines & over-head cranes. Some welding experience needed.

MAIN DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Assist maintenance supervisor with repairs to equipment

Assist maintenance supervisor with preventative maintenance activities, such as lubrication of machines, checking alignment, power supply etc.

Welding Experience

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Previous experience in maintenance essential

Knowledge of mechanical principles

Knowledge of hydraulic/pneumatic principles

Ideally, knowledge of electrical systems, power supply, controls etc.

2 to 4 years Welding Experience - 3G and/or 6G certified

Team player with an excellent attitude and motivational skills

Able to work in a fast paced environment

Strong analytical, arithmetic, problem solving, organizational, and critical thinking skills

Capable of making sound decisions

Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
