Overview

Butech Bliss is seeking a Night Shift Welder who will be responsible for arc welding metal components, primarily mild steel, while adhering to AWS D1.1 standards. Responsibilities

• Arc weld metal components in adherence to AWS D1.1.
• Produce multi-pass groove and fillet welds up to and including the 3G position.
• Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form complete units or subunits following blueprints.
• Inspect finished work for conformance to all specifications.
• Make weld repairs to damaged or non-conforming parts.
• Engage in other work required for welding processes including oxy-fuel burning and finish grinding.
• Operate hoists or cranes to move and position parts.
• Work at heights as needed.
• Comply with all Butech Bliss safety rules.
• Perform other related duties assigned by supervision.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of three years’ experience in flux core arc welding.
• Ability to weld 1/16” – 3/32” diameter wires.
• Prior experience producing weldments that require multi-pass fillet and/or groove welds.
• Successful completion of a hands-on weld test is required.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to frequently sit, stand, walk, crouch, bend, reach, push and pull.
• Applicants must be willing to work overtime when available, including Saturday.
