Overview
Industrial Welders in a fabrication shop are responsible for joining metal components together using various welding techniques. They play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, creating a wide range of metal products.
Responsibilities
- Uses various welding techniques to join metal components.
- Operates and maintains tools and equipment.
- Performs housekeeping in the area as needed.
- Must wear safety glasses and hearing protection.
- Follows written and oral directions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Welding certification preferred.
- Experience with GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW 3G Vertical.
- Carbon and Stainless-Steel experience required.
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of welding techniques and equipment.
- Ability to work accurately and with precision.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and regulations.

- The working environment is in an industrial shop; non-climate controlled and is often hot/humid.
- Must be able to pass a post-offer/pre-placement drug screen and job-related employment physicals.
- Must also submit to a post-offer/pre-employment background check that verifies criminal history.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
