Job Description

Overview

The Welder/Fabricator position involves welding, forming, and fabricating parts and assemblies for new and refurbished equipment. Candidates should have a solid understanding of welding procedures and be able to read blueprints, operate machinery, and complete required testing.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and apply welding procedures.
  • Perform wire feed welding.
  • Weld, form, and fabricate parts and assemblies.
  • Conduct various welding duties on new and refurbished equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Operate a shear and press brake to fabricate and assemble components.
  • Operate a forklift and various pieces of machinery.
  • Use hand and power tools, drill presses, and cutting torches.
  • Complete required testing through Job Service Glendive.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Understanding of welding procedures.
  • Experience with wire feed welding.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Capability to operate a shear and press brake.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and various machinery.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

Additional Information

  • Wage ranges from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 10-hour shifts.
