Overview

We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will weld manufactured parts and sub-assemblies using various welding methods as appropriate to the materials used.

Responsibilities

• Use jigs, fixtures, and assembly blueprints to prepare for welding.
• Locate positions and weld parts using TIG and MIG welding equipment as specified in blueprints.
• Adjust welding equipment to the desired amperage and wire feed.
• Troubleshoot as needed to resolve issues and ensure efficient production.
• Proficiently use a variety of hand tools, including TIG and MIG welding tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist other departments as directed.

Requirements

• Able to read and understand blueprints, work instructions, and travelers.
• Adept at using small hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of shop measurement techniques.
• Good paperwork and counting skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs., and perform physical tasks such as bending, sitting, and standing repeatedly.
• Able to work and interact in a 'Team' oriented department.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
