Overview

Basin Material Handling is seeking a full-time MIG Welder in Easley, SC. The successful candidate will perform a variety of welding functions while maintaining quality and adhering to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Manually guide electrode or gun along weld line to form specified depth of fusion and bead.
• Assist other departments as required or directed.
• May act as line leader, setting up lines and checking weld quality of co-workers.
• Report accurate quantities to the JobBoss process.

Requirements

• Ability to perform simple shop math and convert decimals to fractional equivalents.
• Read a calibrated tape measure.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and quality and procedure manuals.
• 6 months of welding experience required.
• 3 years of welding experience preferred, including reading blueprints and checking weld quality.

Additional Information

• Position starts at $19.50/hour with the opportunity to earn up to an additional $2.50/hour within the first 90 days based on performance evaluations.
• 30-Day Review – Potential increase of up to $0.50/hour.
• 60-Day Review – Potential increase of up to $0.50/hour.
• 90-Day Review – Potential increase of up to $1.50/hour.
