Overview

Micro Metals, Inc. is seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join their production team, responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components to specifications while ensuring quality, safety, and production timelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel and aluminum components
• Perform TIG, arc, and gas welding as needed based on production requirements
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and weld symbols
• Determine proper weld methods and materials based on specifications
• Inspect welds to ensure structural integrity and quality standards
• Grind, clean, and prepare materials for downstream production
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot welding equipment
• Follow production schedules to meet throughput and delivery timelines
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of welding experience preferred
• Proficiency in MIG welding required
• TIG welding experience preferred but not required
• Ability to pass a welding proficiency test
• Strong blueprint reading and weld symbol interpretation skills
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
• High attention to detail and workmanship quality
• Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills
• Team-oriented with a reliable and safety-focused work style
• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred
