Overview

Boyd Autobody & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to join their team, providing a supportive environment for career growth in collision and glass services. The technician will be responsible for both structural and non-structural repairs, ensuring high-quality outcomes while working towards the facility's KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan
• Repair damage to vehicle body panels
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicles
• Repair or replace interior and exterior parts, electrical components, and vehicle accessories
• Remove and install welded and sectioned parts to a vehicle
• Assess and repair structural components of a vehicle
• Use frame equipment
• Apply new knowledge and skills to ensure a high level of quality and productivity
• Take responsibility for outcomes and continuously seek learning opportunities to improve performance

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Completion of Post-Secondary Education in an Auto Body Repair Program
• Minimum 3 years of Auto Body Technician experience
• Welding experience (MIG, TIG welding)
• Valid driver's license
• Own toolbox
