Overview

The Mechanic Oiler position is available in Torrance, CA, where you will work on lubricating machines and equipment for the Military Aircraft Group, a leader in flight control actuation systems for military aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Lubricate machines and equipment following a prepared schedule and sequence using specified lubricants.
• Change coolants, soluble oils, filters, and cleaning compounds in machines as required.
• Look for equipment deficiencies and report them to the supervisor.
• Operate forklift and truck to move and store solvents, oils, coolants, and lubricants.
• Operate various machine tools to lubricate them properly.
• Recognize machine faults and malfunctions and report them to Machine Repair.
• Maintain an adequate inventory of coolants, solvents, oils, and lubricants.
• Perform cleaning, moving, aligning, and simple rebuilding of machines or equipment.
• Bleed air lines or assist in bending tubes for air installations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 6 months warehouse experience.
• Forklift experience.
• Lubricate experience is a plus.
