Overview

Athens Services is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician Lead for the 3rd shift to oversee the maintenance department and ensure the efficient operation of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, and maintaining a safe work environment while providing leadership to maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance department and ensure quality inspections and repairs.
• Manage parts inventory and perform regular inspections.
• Promote teamwork and safe working behaviors.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to maintenance employees.
• Ensure maintenance employees have necessary tools and supplies.
• Promote the use of technology and information systems to improve performance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and/or GED.
• 3 years of maintenance experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email communication.
• Experience in implementing safety programs.
• Leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position.
