Overview

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking Industrial Maintenance/Laborers for their traveling team based out of Carson, CA. This physically intensive role involves providing regional support across various business lines, requiring 100% travel and a TWIC card.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices.
• Perform work in enclosed (confined) spaces.
• Use high pressure water blasting equipment to clean heavy industrial equipment.
• Load hoses, chemicals, and other equipment required for assigned job onto the truck.
• Clean work area and equipment after work is completed.
• Practice safety procedures in accordance with training and guidelines.
• Assist in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, pumps, and general work area.
• Perform labor-intensive activities in all weather conditions.
• Work in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces, and at heights.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be able to wear protective clothing or equipment.
• Must be able to work under extreme climate conditions.
• Previous industrial or construction-based experience preferred.
• Ability to perform manual labor including heavy lifting and confined space entry.
• Ability to wear a respirator.
• Ability to travel up to 80% of the year, up to 3-4 weeks away from home.
• Valid driver’s license.
• TWIC Card required.
• Must reside within 50 miles of Carson office.
