Greif is a global leader in performance packaging, committed to customer service, operational excellence, and sustainability. The Bender/Welder Operator role involves entry-level machine operation and assembly tasks under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operates mostly routine production machinery according to provided prints and specifications.
• Produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
• Measures finished parts with precision tools to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Maintains logs and records of units produced.
• Reports errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.
• Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment.
• Performs basic adjustments and maintenance on equipment.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Follows safety regulations and performs housekeeping duties.
• Ensures data entry processes are implemented.
• Incorporates and maintains safety observances, including PPE usage.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machinery.
• Fundamental understanding of or ability to quickly learn production equipment.
