Overview

Responsibilities

• Work from process sheets, blueprints, setup sheets, and verbal instructions.
• Machine and install or re-cut chuck jaws as required.
• Insert and secure tooling in machine turrets and perform machine setups.
• Download and upload programs into the machine and make minor programming adjustments.
• Operate different types of computerized numerical controls to manufacture finished machined products.
• Inspect own work for correct dimensions and maintain company quality standards.
• May operate multiple machines and rotating departments.
• Enter data into the ERP system.
• Load and unload component piece parts weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by federal export control laws.
• Previous experience operating CNC lathe, CNC mill machines, or resistance spot welder.
• Requires a high school education or equivalent experience.
• Must have reliable attendance with minimal call-offs.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience and knowledge of machining principles.
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Must be able to read and interpret work instructions and blueprints in English.
• External candidates must pass a Machinist test measuring mechanical aptitude.
