At StrataTech/TWS/RSI, the Director of Training Welding is responsible for ensuring high levels of student and faculty satisfaction, compliance with academic policies, and the recruitment and development of outstanding instructors. The organization is dedicated to promoting positive life change through skilled trades education and fostering a culture of care and service.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high levels of student and faculty satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with academic policies and procedures.
- Recruit, train, retain, and develop outstanding instructors.
- Focus on student retention.
- Monitor and manage instructor performance metrics.
- Conduct interviews, hiring, and onboarding for new faculty.
- Ensure completion of required training programs.
- Analyze drop/re-enter data and identify trends to improve retention.
- Participate in weekly LDA and re-entry meetings.
- Attend industry-related association meetings.
- Complete weekly and/or monthly reports as directed.
- Ensure faculty utilize Canvas for hybrid instruction.
- Conduct and manage quarterly End-of-Course faculty surveys.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
- Minimum two years’ experience in a related field; ten years preferred.
- Direct field welding experience in various welding environments.
- Experience leading welding teams or shop operations.
- Experience in technical training or skilled trades education.
- Strong operational leadership and coaching abilities.
- Comfort using technology platforms and CRM systems.
