Overview

Transdev is seeking a Facilities Technician to perform routine and non-routine maintenance duties including plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC repairs. The position offers competitive pay and benefits, and is part of a company that operates transportation systems across the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine facilities maintenance duties such as painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, welding, and HVAC repairs.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Perform non-routine repairs to equipment.
• Use tools and operate equipment needed to perform job functions, including concrete breakers, bucket trucks, cranes, and forklifts.
• Assist with moving furniture and equipment.
• Complete other duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, such as GED, required.
• One to three years of progressively responsible experience in building and grounds maintenance.
• Ability to use a wide variety of hand tools and repair equipment.
• Ability to understand and interpret instruction manuals.
• Ability to perform inspections associated with various environmental requirements.
• Ability to maintain environmental logs.
• Basic mechanical ability.
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable.
