Overview

Ferguson is a Fortune 500 company that has been providing quality supplies for various industries since 1953. They are currently seeking a Welder with welding experience and a commitment to customer service to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Weld outlets onto steel pipe to serve the fire sprinkler industry.
• Perform specialty welding tasks; spool pieces, flanges, etc.
• Inspect work for defects, dimensions, alignment, end preparations, and seam splits in pipe.
• Maintain a clean and safe welding station while conforming to standards of quality and performance.
• Report all equipment malfunctions, safety issues, and required repairs.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of welding experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload appropriately.
• Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
• Attention to detail, demonstrated integrity, and professionalism.
• Desire to learn new things.
• Ability to thrive in an inclusive environment.

Additional Information

• Schedule: 1st or 2nd shift.
• 1st shift: M-F 5am-1:30pm.
• 2nd shift: M-F 1:30pm-11:00pm.
