XL Pro Staffing and Consulting is hiring a MIG Welder in Irving, TX. The role involves performing MIG welding, assisting with custom pipe fabrication, and ensuring quality and safety standards in the production of fire protection products.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks according to blueprints, diagrams, and instructions
• Operate and maintain welding equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist with custom pipe fabrication and assembly
• Conduct quality checks on welds to ensure compliance with company and safety standards
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to maintain workflow and product integrity
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper PPE usage and safe material handling
• Handle materials weighing 50–75 lbs; occasionally lift up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Perform repetitive motions and work in hot, cold, or noisy environments

Requirements

• Must bring personal welding hood and equipment
• MIG welding experience required; must pass welding test
• Ability to work overtime (1–2 hours/day) and occasional weekends
• Resume and interview required
• Strong attention to detail and able to handle production paperwork
• Ability to climb ladders, stairs, or platforms as needed
• Visual and auditory ability to work safely in production
• Commitment to attendance, punctuality, and teamwork

• Schedule: 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM; 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM (or until finish)
• Overtime: Required (1–2 hours daily); Saturday availability is mandatory
