Overview

LiftOne, a family-owned company under the Weisiger Group, is seeking hard-working, team-oriented Dock and Door Technicians. The role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing loading dock equipment, with a commitment to employee growth and a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify general problems based on customer concerns and test to locate failures.
  • Complete repairs safely and efficiently, testing equipment to ensure proper functionality.
  • Drive to customer sites and parts pickups to address on-site needs.
  • Make necessary repairs with customer approval and perform basic maintenance.
  • Process documentation at the completion of each job, ensuring all parts and time are accounted for.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
  • Identify and order necessary replacement parts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, G.E.D. or tech school graduate preferred.
  • Must be a certified welder or able to obtain certification within the first 30 days of hire.
  • Successful completion of the welder apprentice level or three years of welding experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend regulations and instructions in the applicable language.
  • Ability to perform duties at elevated heights.
  • Demonstrated ability to repair equipment per skill level.
  • Basic computer/tablet knowledge (Microsoft and Apple operating systems).
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record must be maintained throughout employment.
  • Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills.
