Overview

Custom Building Products is seeking an experienced Robotic Mechanic to join their maintenance team at the Lithia Springs, GA plant. This full-time position offers opportunities for overtime and advancement, focusing on teamwork and collaboration across various departments.

Responsibilities

• Work as a PLC/Robotics technician handling factory electrical, electronic, and equipment controls.
• Design, modify, troubleshoot, and repair production electronic components such as machine controls, robots, HMI’s, PLC’s, motors, drives, and communication equipment.
• Troubleshoot all issues and perform mechanical technical tasks as assigned.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as required.

Requirements

• Minimum two years of Robotics experience.
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand schematics.
• Skilled in the use of multi-meters and other test equipment.
• Proficient in RS Linx, RS Logix 500, RS Logix 5000, Factory Talk View, DeviceNet, EtherNet, Data Highway, and Microsoft Windows.
• Knowledge of Lock-Out Tag-Out standards and troubleshooting 480v electrical connections.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
