Overview
As a Trailer Mechanic at XPO, you will perform maintenance and repairs on trailer equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards. XPO is a leading global provider of transportation services, seeking skilled individuals to contribute to their integrated network.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance functions and adjustments on trailing equipment.
- Access any area of the equipment to perform necessary maintenance.
- Repair or rebuild all or part of equipment systems.
- Abide by DOT, EPA, OSHA, and other regulations.
- Maintain proficiency in equipment and technologies.
- Move trailers throughout the property and operate a hostler.
- Enter job times and parts on repair orders.
- Operate specialized tooling and vehicles.
- Ensure the work area is clean, safe, and organized.
- Interact with operations and shop management.
Requirements
- 1 year of verifiable experience in heavy-duty maintenance or entry-level Technician role.
- A valid driver's license.
- Able to perform safety inspections and prepare safety documentation.
- Basic computer skills.
- Available to work various shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Brake inspection qualified as per FMCSA regulations.
- Vehicle Inspection qualified as per FMCSA regulations.
- Basic hand tools required for heavy-duty trailer maintenance.

Additional Information
- Experienced Trailer Mechanics can earn up to $33.51/hour.
- First Shift, 6:00AM-2:30PM.
