Overview

As a Trailer Mechanic at XPO, you will perform maintenance and repairs on trailer equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards. XPO is a leading global provider of transportation services, seeking skilled individuals to contribute to their integrated network.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance functions and adjustments on trailing equipment.
  • Access any area of the equipment to perform necessary maintenance.
  • Repair or rebuild all or part of equipment systems.
  • Abide by DOT, EPA, OSHA, and other regulations.
  • Maintain proficiency in equipment and technologies.
  • Move trailers throughout the property and operate a hostler.
  • Enter job times and parts on repair orders.
  • Operate specialized tooling and vehicles.
  • Ensure the work area is clean, safe, and organized.
  • Interact with operations and shop management.

Requirements

  • 1 year of verifiable experience in heavy-duty maintenance or entry-level Technician role.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Able to perform safety inspections and prepare safety documentation.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Available to work various shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
  • Brake inspection qualified as per FMCSA regulations.
  • Vehicle Inspection qualified as per FMCSA regulations.
  • Basic hand tools required for heavy-duty trailer maintenance.

Additional Information

  • Experienced Trailer Mechanics can earn up to $33.51/hour.
  • First Shift, 6:00AM-2:30PM.
  • Company-provided uniforms.
