Overview
Wieland is a global leader in copper and copper alloy manufacturing, processing, and distribution. The Pressure Vessel Welder will be responsible for working from shop drawings and procedures to perform a variety of operations associated with welded assembly of final products, adhering to ASME Code Safety Regulations.
Responsibilities
- Follow the production orders, prepare parts and weld components into assemblies.
- Execute welds in accordance with company procedures and documents, while meeting defined quality standards.
- Maintain a safe and organized working environment.
- Properly maintain tools and equipment assigned to perform duties.
- Identify and implement safety improvements.
Requirements
- At least 1-3 years experience or commensurate education from trade school for Level I.
- At least 3+ years experience in MIG and TIG welding of pipe or pressure vessels for Level II.
- At least 5+ years experience in MIG and TIG welding of pipe or pressure vessels for Level III.
- Experience and certification in welding in accordance to ASME standard for Level II and III.
- Ability to read and apply WPS and read drawings.
- Strong aptitude for problem solving and teamwork.
- Methodical, organized, and precise.
- Proactive in proposing solutions.

Additional Information
- This role is located in Delaware, OH and will be fully on-site.
- Starting Pay: $28.23/hr., with compensation adjusted based on experience and qualifications.
- Schedule: 1st shift Monday - Thursday (6:00am-4:30pm)
- Pay Schedule: Biweekly
