Overview

Wieland is a global leader in copper and copper alloy manufacturing, processing, and distribution. The Pressure Vessel Welder will be responsible for working from shop drawings and procedures to perform a variety of operations associated with welded assembly of final products, adhering to ASME Code Safety Regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Follow the production orders, prepare parts and weld components into assemblies.
  • Execute welds in accordance with company procedures and documents, while meeting defined quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe and organized working environment.
  • Properly maintain tools and equipment assigned to perform duties.
  • Identify and implement safety improvements.

Requirements

  • At least 1-3 years experience or commensurate education from trade school for Level I.
  • At least 3+ years experience in MIG and TIG welding of pipe or pressure vessels for Level II.
  • At least 5+ years experience in MIG and TIG welding of pipe or pressure vessels for Level III.
  • Experience and certification in welding in accordance to ASME standard for Level II and III.
  • Ability to read and apply WPS and read drawings.
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving and teamwork.
  • Methodical, organized, and precise.
  • Proactive in proposing solutions.

Additional Information

  • This role is located in Delaware, OH and will be fully on-site.
  • Starting Pay: $28.23/hr., with compensation adjusted based on experience and qualifications.
  • Schedule: 1st shift Monday - Thursday (6:00am-4:30pm)
  • Pay Schedule: Biweekly
