Overview

The 2nd Shift Holesaw Weld Operator position at Stanley Black & Decker involves setting up and operating equipment for the production of holesaws. Responsibilities

• Set up and operate automatic blanking, heat treat forming, and robotic tig welding of holesaws.
• Work from priorities provided, travelers, and instructions to perform welding tasks.
• Visually inspect each saw for quality of weld and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean condition and report discrepancies.
• Observe and obey all safety rules and practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of charts, specifications, and micrometers.
• Ability to use numbers including decimals.
• Mechanical ability/aptitude.
• Light physical effort required, equivalent to lifting 5 to 25 pounds.

Additional Information

• Pay range is $19.91-$20.97 plus a 9% shift differential.
• Work schedule is Monday to Friday from 5:00pm to 5:00am.
• Training schedule is Monday to Friday from 5:00pm to 1:30am.
• Location is East Longmeadow, MA 01028.
