Overview

We are hiring a Welder/Fabricator to support plant maintenance and production needs in an industrial manufacturing environment. This hands-on role focuses on precision welding and fabrication, contributing to a stable, long-term position in an aerospace industrial setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on carbon steel and other materials.
  • Fabricate parts, structures, frames, and components to support plant operations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work orders.
  • Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for welding and assembly.
  • Repair and rebuild industrial equipment, guards, platforms, and supports.
  • Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, torches, grinders, and plasma cutters.
  • Inspect finished welds and fabricated parts to ensure quality and safety standards.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and hot-work requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance and production teams as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3–5 years of welding and fabrication experience preferred, or equivalent training.
  • Proficiency in MIG welding; TIG and Stick experience a strong plus.
  • Ability to read and work from blueprints and fabrication drawings.
  • Solid understanding of welding safety practices and procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, motivated, and safety-focused mindset.
