Overview
We are hiring a Welder/Fabricator to support plant maintenance and production needs in an industrial manufacturing environment. This hands-on role focuses on precision welding and fabrication, contributing to a stable, long-term position in an aerospace industrial setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on carbon steel and other materials.
- Fabricate parts, structures, frames, and components to support plant operations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work orders.
- Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for welding and assembly.
- Repair and rebuild industrial equipment, guards, platforms, and supports.
- Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, torches, grinders, and plasma cutters.
- Inspect finished welds and fabricated parts to ensure quality and safety standards.
- Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and hot-work requirements.
- Work collaboratively with maintenance and production teams as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3–5 years of welding and fabrication experience preferred, or equivalent training.
- Proficiency in MIG welding; TIG and Stick experience a strong plus.
- Ability to read and work from blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Solid understanding of welding safety practices and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
