The Manager Maintenance-Incinerator role involves overseeing maintenance personnel and ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards while managing maintenance functions throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all maintenance personnel ensuring compliance with safety and health directives.
  • Establish improvements within a maintenance management system to reduce equipment failures.
  • Maintain equipment records and manage the purchase of components for projects.
  • Work with outside vendors to acquire fabricated parts.
  • Track equipment history and define preventative maintenance practices.
  • Conduct predictive analysis of process systems and equipment.
  • Identify equipment malfunctions and generate work orders.
  • Support Stericycle’s commitment to safety and compliance.
  • Manage troubleshooting and repairs of electric motors and wiring.
  • Ensure neatness of wiring boxes.
  • Purchase components and manage installation of conduit runs.
  • Manage troubleshooting and repairs of air pneumatics and hydraulic systems.
  • Manage the use of power tools associated with metal machining.
  • Perform welding repairs on carbon steel and stainless steel.
  • Manage installation of piping systems.
  • Responsible for hiring, training, and development of Maintenance Technicians.
  • Oversee contractors to ensure quality of work and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred or 10 years of equivalent maintenance management experience.
  • Driver’s License.
  • Boiler, Welding, or Electrical Certification.
  • PLC Certification.

Additional Information

  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM Start Time Nights & Weekends as needed for shutdowns.
