The Manager Maintenance-Incinerator role involves overseeing maintenance personnel and ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards while managing maintenance functions throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all maintenance personnel ensuring compliance with safety and health directives.
- Establish improvements within a maintenance management system to reduce equipment failures.
- Maintain equipment records and manage the purchase of components for projects.
- Work with outside vendors to acquire fabricated parts.
- Track equipment history and define preventative maintenance practices.
- Conduct predictive analysis of process systems and equipment.
- Identify equipment malfunctions and generate work orders.
- Support Stericycle’s commitment to safety and compliance.
- Manage troubleshooting and repairs of electric motors and wiring.
- Ensure neatness of wiring boxes.
- Purchase components and manage installation of conduit runs.
- Manage troubleshooting and repairs of air pneumatics and hydraulic systems.
- Manage the use of power tools associated with metal machining.
- Perform welding repairs on carbon steel and stainless steel.
- Manage installation of piping systems.
- Responsible for hiring, training, and development of Maintenance Technicians.
- Oversee contractors to ensure quality of work and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred or 10 years of equivalent maintenance management experience.
- Driver’s License.
- Boiler, Welding, or Electrical Certification.
- PLC Certification.

- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM Start Time Nights & Weekends as needed for shutdowns.
