Overview

Applus+ Arcadia Aerospace Industries (AAI) is a multi-faceted aerospace company serving the Nadcap Special Process needs of aerospace component manufacturers and suppliers around the world. We are seeking an experienced AWS Certified Welder to join our aerospace NDT team, responsible for performing high-quality welding and fabrication work in accordance with industry, customer, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication operations in accordance with AWS standards and company procedures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
• Operate welding, fabrication, and related shop equipment safely and efficiently.
• Support production, repair, and custom fabrication projects as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and inspection teams to meet customer and project deadlines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current AWS welding certification required.
• Previous welding experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial environment preferred.
• Proficiency in MIG welding and TIG is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Mechatronics experience or machining skills are a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
