Overview

RANDALL is a premier self-performing subcontractor providing integrated Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Architectural Metals, and Offsite Construction/Manufacturing solutions across Florida and the Southeast. They are currently seeking top-tier Pipe Welders to work in their Shop in Apopka, FL.

Responsibilities

• Fit and weld steel pipes for plumbing/mechanical applications.
• Examine work product for defects.
• Ensure conformance with specifications.

Requirements

• Knowledge of plumbing, pipefitting, and welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret spool drawings and technical detail data sheets.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity with attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in pipe welding.
• Must be able to pass a brief verbal pipe fitters test during interview.
• Working knowledge of SMAW, FCAW, Stick (6010/7018) welding.
• Working knowledge of gas cutting techniques for piping (Automatic & Manually).
• Excellent knowledge of fitting configurations adhering to ASME B31.1 Power Piping.
• Preferred knowledge of examination, testing, inspection, operation, and maintenance of piping systems.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective English or Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Commitment to adhering to safety protocols, procedures, and regulations.

Additional Information

• This is a full-time on-site role located in Apopka, FL.
• Must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours.
