Responsibilities

• Operate hand-welding equipment to join metal components or fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.
• Read work orders, blueprints, instructions, formulas, and/or processing charts to ensure precise and accurate welding.
• Identify non-conformances during inspection of component parts and document them properly.
• Communicate and problem solve with others in a reasonable and professional manner.
• Maintain welding equipment in good working order and free of debris.
• Keep equipment, tools, and work area clean.
• Follow established safety procedures and work safely throughout the day.
• Adhere to all relevant ISO 9000 procedures.
• Record an accurate log of job times and specifications for audit reports.
