Overview
ERock is a leader in Electrical Resiliency-As-A-Service, providing advanced dual-purpose microgrids that protect against power outages. They are seeking a motivated Assembly Technician to join their manufacturing team, focusing on mechanical and electrical assembly of customer generators.
Responsibilities
- Utilize a variety of hand tools for assembly tasks.
- Perform periodic inspections to identify manufacturing needs.
- Conduct skilled assembly of ERock's generator sets.
- Learn and utilize manufacturer-specific software for troubleshooting.
- Follow written instructions from work orders and engineered drawings.
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on generators.
- Troubleshoot and repair engine issues.
- Work in potentially confined areas.
- Ensure safe operation of electrical equipment.
- Communicate effectively following company procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Trade school or technical program preferred.
- 0–2 years of relevant hands-on experience or completion of a technical program.
- Ability to follow job-specific instructions.
- Ability to read and use measuring devices.
- Attention to detail in work performance.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot production issues.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines.
- Must be able to be on feet for multiple hours a day.
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Constant need to extend hands and arms in any direction.
- Integrity in working efficiently with or without supervision.
