Overview

U-Haul is seeking a Welding Robot Operator to work with advanced robotic welding technology, contributing to the production of truck and trailer parts. This position offers competitive pay and excellent benefits, emphasizing a fast hiring process.

Responsibilities

• Access programs, set tools, and load and unload welding robot
• Operate welding robot
• Interpret and carry out work orders, blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions
• Perform daily preventative maintenance on robotic welding machine
• Perform quality checks on parts using inspection tools such as tape measures
• Clean and organize workstation

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to pass print reading, measurement, and fraction/decimal conversion tests
• Familiarity with CNC brake presses preferred (training available)
• Able to responsibly handle confidential information
