Overview

SiteOne Landscape Supply is the largest national distributor of landscaping products in the U.S. and Canada, serving green industry professionals. The Mechanic is responsible for maintaining company-owned equipment and vehicles to meet production and distribution demands.

Responsibilities

• Perform services and repairs to company-owned equipment and vehicles in a safe manner.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
• Complete paperwork related to maintenance of equipment and vehicles in a timely manner.
• Research, order, and maintain parts inventory for services and repairs.

Requirements

• Experience in diesel engine repairs, two-cycle engine repairs, or heavy equipment repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
• Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Welding Certification is a plus but not required.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 65 lbs.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• 1-3 years of experience in the green industry or familiarity with landscape, nursery, forestry, or irrigation products preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
