Responsibilities
- Perform pipe welding, including Mig, Pulse, and Tig, with the ability to qualify in a 6G test.
- Read and interpret blueprints accurately to meet project specifications.
- Execute fabrication tasks such as cutting and fitting with precision.
- Perform assembly tasks following high-specification drawings and work instructions.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain excellent organizational skills to keep workstations clean and orderly.
- Utilize hand and power tools with precision and efficiency.
- Follow safety guidelines and adhere to company policies.
- Train and support team members as needed.
- Complete tasks within designated deadlines, even in high-pressure situations.
- Adapt and function well in a high-paced and occasionally stressful environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required.
- Certified vocational degrees preferred.
- At least 1+ year of experience in Welding, Fabrication and/or Assembly experience.
- Lean training/certification is an asset.
- Expertise in pipe welding (Mig, Pulse, Tig) and ability to pass a 6G test preferred.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading.
- Strong understanding of high-spec assembly drawings.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Comprehension of safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to sit, stand, reach, and walk on concrete surfaces for extended periods.
- Capacity to lift/carry up to 50 lbs may be required.
- Sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate tools and machinery.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, if required.
