Responsibilities

• Interpret plans, specifications, and work instructions for installations.
• Install HVAC equipment, piping, and assemblies.
• Perform tasks related to fabrication, layout, installation, repair, or maintenance of piping systems.
• Collaborate with general contractors and other trades.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and in compliance with codes and standards.
• Provide instruction and guidance to trainees or apprentices.
• Maintain tools, materials, and work areas in an organized and safe condition.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of HVAC piping experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems and applicable codes.
• Proficient in trade math.
• Proficient in the safe use of hand and power tools.
• Strong understanding of job site safety standards.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of multiple types of piping systems and connection methods.
• Knowledge of DX piping is preferred.
• Knowledge of Pipe Welding and ASME qualification is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA 10 certification.
