Job Description
Overview
Join our team as a Steamfitter at New Mexico State University, where you will maintain and repair campus steam distribution systems and operate high/low pressure boilers. This position requires a New Mexico Journeyman Pipe Fitter License or the ability to obtain one within a year from the date of hire.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair steam distribution system and related equipment.
- Perform steam distribution system maintenance activities.
- Operate and maintain high/low pressure steam boilers, related controls and safety devices.
- Perform related work as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma + 1 year of relevant experience, or higher degree.
- New Mexico Journeyman Pipe Fitter License or ability to obtain within a year from date of hire.
