Overview

We are a leading industrial mechanical, electrical, and civil construction services provider for various industries, including fossil and nuclear power, pulp and paper, chemical, mining, and general manufacturing. The pipe welder will perform welding, lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain piping systems and related equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding on piping systems.
  • Lay out, fabricate, and assemble piping systems.
  • Install and maintain pipe supports and fixtures.
  • Work with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and hydraulic diagrams.
  • Possess a complete set of tools for industrial pipe fitting/welding.
  • Ability to stoop, bend, and manipulate tools in small spaces.
  • Perform work at heights.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • Pass a pipe coupon weld test.
  • At least 4 years of pipe welding experience, preferably in an industrial setting.

  • Must complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign.
  • Must have full range of motion consistent with age.
  • Must be able to climb and maintain balance on ladders.
  • Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
