Overview

Austin Industrial is a leading provider of maintenance, construction, and soft craft services to industrial companies across the U.S. The Scaffold Builder Helper will assist Scaffold Builders in constructing, assembling, maintaining, and dismantling scaffolding and other temporary structures.

Responsibilities

• Work at heights with no fear.
• Transport tubular scaffold or other structural material and erect the scaffold as instructed by the scaffold builder.
• Hoist scaffolding materials upward to erect temporary structures.
• Properly secure and level locking sections of scaffolding material.
• Secure scaffold to the permanent structure for added stability.
• Adhere to all OSHA, site-specific, and Austin Industrial requirements for erecting and navigating scaffolding.
• Pass materials and tools to Journeyman as needed.
• Dismantle scaffolding when properly communicated to do so.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid TWIC Card.
• Valid Driver License.
• No minimum education requirements.
• 6+ months experience in an industrial setting preferred.
• Legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
