A company in Santa Teresa, NM is seeking a Maintenance Helper/Welder with welding experience to assist in maintaining and repairing production equipment, machinery, and facility systems. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and able to support maintenance technicians in keeping operations running efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Perform basic welding and fabrication tasks as needed.
• Help troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment issues.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
• Assist with facility maintenance projects, including repairs and installations.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Respond to maintenance requests and support production needs.

Requirements

• Previous maintenance, mechanical, or industrial experience preferred.
• Welding experience required (MIG, TIG, or Stick welding preferred).
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment repair.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
