Overview

A Welder/Fitter is required to safely prepare various alloys for fabrication processing, welding, and fitting. The role involves individual contribution with minimal supervision and requires knowledge of welding and fabrication technology.

Responsibilities

• Safely prepare various alloys for fabrication processing.
• Perform welding and fitting tasks.
• Lead and engage RVII to achieve manufacturing goals.
• Ensure safety by preventing injuries.
• Maintain quality by producing defect-free work.
• Meet customer delivery dates for on-time delivery.
• Manage budget to stay at or below estimated hours.
• Develop and retain effective leaders.

Requirements

• Must complete and pass a physical assessment.
• Must perform essential job functions with or without accommodation.
• Formal training in Welding Technology or 3+ years of practical welding and fabrication experience.
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
• Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods in an office and/or industrial environment.
