Overview

We are seeking an experienced TIG & Laser Welder to join a production team in El Monte, CA. The role involves performing various welding tasks and maintaining quality standards in a production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG and laser welding on a variety of metal components.
  • Execute sanitary welds where required.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and specifications.
  • Assemble and fabricate metal components using hand and power tools.
  • Operate plasma cutting equipment for material preparation.
  • Perform pipe threading and stick welding as needed.
  • Inspect welded joints for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Rework or repair welds as required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of TIG welding experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of laser welding experience in a production environment.
  • Strong blueprint and welding specification interpretation skills.
  • Experience with sheet metal fabrication.
  • Ability to assemble and build metal structures.
  • Familiarity with pipe threading processes.

Benefits

Additional Information

  • Compensation: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Schedule: 2nd shift, M-F: 3:30 pm - 12:00 am.
