Overview

IPS – RMB Products is seeking a Plastics Welder and Fabricator responsible for fabricating plastic components and products while ensuring quality and productivity targets are met. Integrated Polymer Solutions (IPS) is a leading developer and manufacturer of advanced materials and engineered components, focused on high-value end markets such as aerospace, defense, and medical applications.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, analyze, and follow blueprints and engineering drawings to create quality products.
• Utilize measurement tools to fabricate components and assemblies as needed.
• Use proper weld techniques and equipment to produce strong, clean welds.
• Mix chemicals for cleaning products and perform hand cleaning as needed.
• Test output to ensure strength and tolerance of welds.
• Inspect and measure work to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Maintain weld machines and perform preventative maintenance.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards, and specifications.
• Recommend improvements for quality and productivity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work assigned shifts and be punctual.
• High level of mathematics skills.
• Certifications preferred or able to achieve certification in Forklift, crane, welding.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Basic computer skills for processing work orders and documenting results.
• Proficient with measurement tools, hand tools, and shop equipment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Effective communication skills in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with team lifts over 50 pounds.
• Flexibility to perform other duties as needed.
