The Service Welder II position at Ring Power Corporation involves conducting welding tasks safely and efficiently while adhering to company policies and industry standards. Responsibilities

• Conduct all assigned work safely, adhering to safety and environmental policies.
• Complete required technician training and stay updated on technical changes.
• Maintain a minimum set of tools for disassembling and assembling machine components.
• Interpret structural drawings and perform layout and assembly functions with minimal supervision.
• Prepare parts for welding and perform welding as per experience or specified procedures.
• Maintain a neat work area and assist with facility appearance and shop conditions.
• Complete documentation of repairs performed and account for repair times.
• Monitor job expenses versus estimates and inform the supervisor of any cost overruns.
• Support team efforts by completing tasks on time while maintaining safety and quality.
• Train and mentor others in the department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• 3-4 years of welding and fabricating experience.
• Completed required training curriculum to be designated a Service Welder II.
• 3g and 4G SMAW, FCAW, GMAW certifications.
• Thorough knowledge of safety requirements related to welding and cutting.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally with employees and customers.

Additional Information

• Work is typically performed during regular business hours with occasional night, holiday, and weekend requirements.
• Job has no supervisory responsibility but may involve working independently or as part of a team.
