Overview
The Press Brake Operator II operates various machinery including brakes, sheers, and spot-welders, ensuring quality and precision in manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Understand jobs, tags, storage, and electronic logging.
- Read and interpret most blueprints.
- Understand all pieces of equipment in the press area.
- Run any programmed job, correctly inspect the first part, and set up the job.
- Establish inspection and basic tooling from the tooling list.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Vocational or Trade School preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of Brake press experience preferred.
- Forklift certification required.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Ability to work with others to complete tasks or work individually.
- Proficient reading skills for tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools.
