Overview

The Press Brake Operator II operates various machinery including brakes, sheers, and spot-welders, ensuring quality and precision in manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Understand jobs, tags, storage, and electronic logging.
  • Read and interpret most blueprints.
  • Understand all pieces of equipment in the press area.
  • Run any programmed job, correctly inspect the first part, and set up the job.
  • Establish inspection and basic tooling from the tooling list.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Vocational or Trade School preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of Brake press experience preferred.
  • Forklift certification required.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Ability to work with others to complete tasks or work individually.
  • Proficient reading skills for tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools.
