Responsibilities

  • Performs in and out of position welding.
  • Performs hand fabricating.
  • Participate in weld lab classroom training for Trane and ASME/PED certifications as needed.
  • Receives work instructions from a member of management or a team lead.
  • Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and hoists.
  • Perform quality checks and tests and assist in identifying and resolving problems.
  • Participate in basic problem solving, 5-S, and lean activities.
  • Maintain and inspect tools and equipment and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Have basic functional knowledge of computers and ability to read and acknowledge work instructions electronically.
  • Effectively communicate with cross-functional departments to ensure parts are brought to the production line in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Completion of formal welding program or equivalent on-the-job experience.
  • Required Weld Process: 2F, 2G.
  • Preferred Weld Process: 3F, 3G, 4F, 4G.
  • Completion of company approved proficiency test prior to employment.
  • Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow directions, standard work, job breakdown sheets, and safety instructions in English.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screen is required.

Additional Information

  • On-Site work for 5 days.
  • Starting wage of $28.42 with a second & weekend shift premium of $2.50.
  • Medical & Vacation benefits upon completion of 84-day probationary period.
  • PTO/Sick Leave after 6 months.
  • $150 voucher for safety toe shoes upon hire.
