Job Description
Overview
The Production Associate 2 (Welder) is responsible for operating welding equipment in a fast-paced and physically demanding work environment. Successful candidates will engage in heavy lifting and manual tasks while ensuring high-quality welds and maintaining safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate welding equipment and various hand tools to construct window units.
- Set up welding equipment and select appropriate materials based on specifications.
- Ensure high-quality welds to meet production standards.
- Fabricate and assemble window frames using various welding techniques.
- Ensure accurate measurements and alignment during the welding process.
- Perform quality inspections and engage in problem solving to resolve issues.
- Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following procedures and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and efficiency.
Additional Information
- Base pay starts at $17.75 - $24.00 per hour.
- 1st Shift: 7AM-3:30PM Monday-Friday.
