Overview

As the Welder at JBT Marel, you will be responsible for the preparation, welding, and finishing of complex welded fabrications, ensuring product quality. JBT Marel is a global leader in the Food Processing Industry, offering opportunities for career growth and global travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG Welding on stainless steel.
• Select, process, and weld small or single unit production series or semi-finished products from stainless steel parts.
• Set up and calibrate welding equipment according to procedures and technical drawings.
• Comply with supply lead times and standard times set by the Team Leader.
• Perform simple maintenance of tools and instruments.
• Ensure safe and certified operation of industrial equipment as needed.
• Check parts for presence, dimensions, and quality.

Requirements

• Problem-solving skills with innovative insight.
• Result-driven with a focus on meeting customer expectations.
• Punctuality and ability to follow schedules and safety requirements.
• Secondary education in a relevant technical field.
• Welding certificate; TIG or equivalent.
• Experience in welding and welding technology.
• Operational knowledge of relevant software and ability to read technical drawings.
• Ability to lift upwards of 50lbs, stand, and bend repeatedly.
