Trane Technologies is a world leader in creating sustainable climate solutions for buildings, homes, and transportation. The Gas Welder/Brazer position involves performing assembly and welding tasks to contribute to the company's mission of sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly of parts and sub-assemblies within designated work cells in the plant.
- Complete tasks within the specified Takt time at the designated workstation.
- Use hand and power tools such as wrenches, sockets, and hammers.
- Perform brazing and soldering tasks using gas welding equipment.
- Receive work instructions from management or team leads.
- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and hoists.
- Conduct quality checks and assist in problem identification and resolution.
- Participate in basic problem solving, 5-S, and lean activities.
- Maintain and inspect tools and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional departments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be able to work any shift and overtime as necessary.
- Crosstrain within and outside the assigned production area.
- Use all required personal protective equipment.
- Comply with all established plant rules and policies.
- Contribute positively to work teams.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Ability to read, write, and follow directions in English.
- Must be legally authorized to work without needing sponsorship.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screen is required.

Additional Information
- On-Site work for 5 days a week.
- Starting wage of $24.85 with a second & weekend shift premium of $2.50.
