Overview

Trane Technologies is a world leader in creating sustainable climate solutions for buildings, homes, and transportation. The Gas Welder/Brazer position involves performing assembly and welding tasks to contribute to the company's mission of sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly of parts and sub-assemblies within designated work cells in the plant.
  • Complete tasks within the specified Takt time at the designated workstation.
  • Use hand and power tools such as wrenches, sockets, and hammers.
  • Perform brazing and soldering tasks using gas welding equipment.
  • Receive work instructions from management or team leads.
  • Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and hoists.
  • Conduct quality checks and assist in problem identification and resolution.
  • Participate in basic problem solving, 5-S, and lean activities.
  • Maintain and inspect tools and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional departments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work any shift and overtime as necessary.
  • Crosstrain within and outside the assigned production area.
  • Use all required personal protective equipment.
  • Comply with all established plant rules and policies.
  • Contribute positively to work teams.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow directions in English.
  • Must be legally authorized to work without needing sponsorship.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screen is required.

Additional Information

  • On-Site work for 5 days a week.
  • Starting wage of $24.85 with a second & weekend shift premium of $2.50.
  • Medical & Vacation benefits after 84-day probation.
  • PTO/Sick Leave after 6 months.
  • $150 voucher for safety toe shoes upon hire.
