Overview

We are seeking a full-time, permanent Welder to join our welding department. Our company has been manufacturing a variety of steel fittings for commercial, agricultural, and industrial uses for over 90 years.

Responsibilities

• Sets up pre-fitted parts for welding.
• Performs hand welding and brazing operations on various metals and alloys.
• Works from various specifications, drawings, prints, or welding symbols.
• Measures and marks work pieces using straightedges, rules, and calipers.
• Selects proper electrodes, tips, and rods suitable for the material and type of welding required.
• Utilizes plasma cutting torch to cut metal into parts or smaller pieces to work with.

Requirements

• Experience with MIG and TIG welding required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Applicant may be subject to a background check.
• Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment.
