Overview

The Welder -B position involves welding materials using FCAW and GMAW processes. The role requires adherence to safety guidelines and maintenance of work areas while operating equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Welds materials using FCAW and GMAW processes.
• Produces quality welds as specified in work orders.
• Follows welding procedures and directions from the supervisor.
• Uses basic welding tools and equipment.
• Performs general daily maintenance tasks and checks of welding equipment.
• Maintains upkeep and cleanliness of work areas.
• Follows company safety and security guidelines.
• Operates forklift and other material handling equipment to move materials.

Requirements

• 2 years of welding experience required.
• Ability to perform shop math.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Previous experience with barcode and computer equipment to record production operations.
