Overview

Responsibilities
- Perform fabrication processes using manual, semi-automatic, and fully mechanized welding processes.
- Perform routine assembly operations utilizing basic mechanical equipment and hand tools (grinding, buffing, cutting) of a repetitive nature on mechanical and/or electronic components and sub-assemblies.
- Understand and follow welding procedure specifications on different welding processes.
- Change from different welding/fabrication methods daily.
- Ensure quality of products throughout the process.
- Regularly stand for 8 or more hours per day.
- Regularly reach with arms and hands.
- Regularly lift, push, pull and move up to 50 pounds.
Requirements
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent training (TIG and Plasma).
- Ability to multi-task and be self-motivated.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and operate machines.
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions and understand basic drawings, diagrams, and production orders.
- Must be flexible and willing to learn different positions.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
