Overview

We are seeking Welders to join our client's world-class production team in Johnson County. This company is a global leader in their industry and is regarded as one of the best places to work in Indiana, providing an extremely clean, safe, and organized environment for their employees.

Responsibilities

  • Perform fabrication processes using manual, semi-automatic, and fully mechanized welding processes.
  • Perform routine assembly operations utilizing basic mechanical equipment and hand tools (grinding, buffing, cutting) of a repetitive nature on mechanical and/or electronic components and sub-assemblies.
  • Understand and follow welding procedure specifications on different welding processes.
  • Change from different welding/fabrication methods daily.
  • Ensure quality of products throughout the process.
  • Regularly stand for 8 or more hours per day.
  • Regularly reach with arms and hands.
  • Regularly lift, push, pull and move up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent training (TIG and Plasma).
  • Ability to multi-task and be self-motivated.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and operate machines.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions and understand basic drawings, diagrams, and production orders.
  • Must be flexible and willing to learn different positions.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
