Overview

This position is for a Welder at Big Tex Trailers in Madill, OK, offering a temp-to-hire opportunity. The role involves performing MIG welding and ensuring quality compliance in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on trailer frames, components, and assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production specifications.
• Assemble and fit metal parts prior to welding.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with company standards.
• Operate welding equipment and basic fabrication tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.

Requirements

• Technical skills in MIG welding, reading a tape measure, reading basic blueprints, and operating fabrication tools.
• Language requirement: English.
