Overview
The Pipefitter Supervisor (Pipefitter Foreman) oversees and trains inmate workers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of utility systems related to the Steamfitter/Pipefitter trade, ensuring public safety and the humane treatment of individuals in a correctional environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervises and trains inmate workers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of utility systems.
- Maintains heating systems, high and low pressure steam systems, and auxiliary steam equipment.
- Ensures professional maintenance of piping and related equipment for housing units and supportive buildings.
- Maintains security of the institution as a primary responsibility.
